John Bass

Ph.D. Student in Optical Sciences

University of Arizona

John Bass is a PhD student in the Wyant College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona. His research is focused on coherent wavefront projection, correction, and phase conjugation at the limits of information theory. Prior to his Ph.D., he recieved a bachelor’s degree in electrical and optical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2022. He previously has worked as a systems engineer for Ball Aerospace.
